Welcome to World History According to Undergrads! This site is run by a number of teaching assistants and graduate instructors at a major American university that shall remain nameless. One of our favorite, if frustrating, pastimes is comparing the ridiculous responses we get from our students on exams, quizzes, and papers. It has gotten to the point that we feel these are just too much fun to keep to ourselves. So we have decided to share them with the internets. Some of these are innocent mistakes and typos that create a hilarious alternate history. Others make us fear for the future and wonder what we could possibly be doing so wrong. All of these, sadly, are very real. This is not done out of malice or ill-will toward our students. But, sometimes, you have got to laugh to keep from crying. Let history be re-written through bad Photoshop!
